No Supper For You

Spike Jonze + my favourite book as a child. Awesome.

Interesting to see how you turn a picture book with 10 sentences into a full length movie.

Bad, Bad Man

I was watching TV the other day and this trailer came on for 12 rounds. At first I thought it was starring Mark Wahlberg, but then realized it was actually John Cena. Coincidentally enough, the next commercial was for a trailer for Observe and Report and the song playing during it was this…

Not only do I think this video is hilarious as I used to watch A-Team all the time when I was young, but it also reminded me of my trip to Italy. When I was in Rome we were chilling in our room just before going out for dinner and the only thing I could bring myself to watch was this channel that seemed to always have WWF/E on it. Everything else was Soccer or Italian news. Damn, those italians love the wrestling. Anyway, I saw the above video a bunch of times while I was there.

Let Me WTF You?

I’ll be honest, I don’t need a crazy counter or traffic tracker like most blogs. It would just end up being my own private humiliation. The wordpress counter is good enough for me seeing that my blog is like a bike going down a country road, far from these super highways you keep hearing about.

It kind of baffles me that someone would somehow get here after typing in “let me fuck you” into their search engine. What a let down that would have been.

This week may end up appearing slightly narcissistic.

Well Clever, innit.

This is probably the first custom I did about 7 years ago (aside from painting new camo on my GI Joes when I was a youngin). I worked at a tech support call centre at the time and one of my “team mates” was this big dude that was all about Ali G. We came up with the idea of doing some customs based on each other and oddly enough I was the only one that did one. It was pretty easy cos he totally had the look and personality of Hacksaw Jim Dugan. All it took was a trip down to Heroes Comics for a HJD fig in the used bin and some paints. This is one of my fave figs still.
